Sow the seed

You will reap what you sow...

If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation.

If you plant goodness, you will reap friends.

If you plant humility, you will reap greatness.

If you plant consideration, you will reap harmony.

If you plant hard work, you will reap success.

Sow a compliment today and see how it grows. Because you will reap what you sow.

May the fruits of your harvest bless you greatly!

Making others feel great makes you great

A pat on the back, a responding smile, a kind word. It takes such a little to make another person feel great. And the best about it is that a person who feels great does great.

It's the great thing that we humans do - the ability to inspire each other - that often leads to the greatest discoveries, the best inventions, the nicest music, the most pleasant designs, and the most enduring moments. We are the herd kind of species, the "together-beings", the social animals, the band of explorers. We were born to be great together. But it usually starts with one making a first move. You could be that one. That great one.

"Great people are those who can make others feel that they, too, can become great." - Mark Twain.

Every good thought, every good word, every act of kindness

"Every good thought, every good word, every good emotion, and every act of kindness..." Those are the words from the well-known The Secret philosophy, posted by YouTube user MarcyFromMaui. It continues: "... there is no limit to the good thoughts you can think, or the good words you can speak, or the acts of kindness that you can do. Other than transforming your own life through lifting your vibration, you lift others' lives too." Just reading those words can make one feel so good. It reminded me of you. Thanks for always speaking good things. "The positive vibration of your energy emanates out like a stone thrown into water."

People need fresh air and compliments

Merry Christmas!Image by Tambako the Jaguar via Flickr

"People need fresh air, healthy food, clean water, exercise, creative stimulation, companionship, self-esteem and a safe place to sleep. All of these things are simple to obtain. Most of them are free." Thus writes Tim Patterson on The Traveler's Notebook. Let's add compliments. People need fresh air and compliments.

Tim continues: "For fresh air, go outside. For exercise, take a walk. For creative stimulation, go somewhere new. For companionship, make a friend. For self esteem, turn off your TV, breathe deep and open your spirit to the basic goodness of the world."

See, it's easy! Discover the basic goodness in yourself. The more you give, the more worth you will feel within yourself. Give something free but valuable this holiday season. Give a compliment to the one you love.

Happy Holidays!
