The greatest compliment one can receive
The greatest compliment one can receive, simply, is to be loved. No special gifts needed, no money involved, no pretensions, just love. Thus, if you see someone who you think might not be having a particularly great time at the moment because of economic circumstances or health issues or whatever else, all you have to do is show that you care. Give emotional support or even just a kind word. And you'll see, love conquers all. Love is the greatest compliment

Watch your thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.
The above words of wisdom are something you should put up on the fridge or on your desk at work or even somewhere in the car where it can't be missed. Not only because they mean so much but also because these words will remind you of a friend or acquaintance. We all know someone who we admire simply because they watch what they say and it reflects in their character. And you know what? There is somebody out there that can apply the meaning of these words to you too!

Hey, I'm not that old! I'm late 40s, you're in your 20s. Why would you offer your seat to me? At first I was a bit surprised when you got up to offer me your seat I realized you merely respected age as you would respect beauty and for that I give you kudos. Even God promises: "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you."
OK, so I'm not your dad or mom but, hey, you honored me, an older person. And that is RESPECT! And respect is a compliment. Thanks lad! I hope you have a great day. In fact, I think you'll have a great life. Surely, the more respect you give the more you will receive.
