A careless word may kindle strife.
A cruel word may wreck a life.
A timely word may level stress.
A loving word may heal and bless.

'Tis the reason for the season
"'Tis the reason for the season," you may hear Christians say in regards to Christmas. You may have a different believe but most likely also enjoyed the holiday festivities. Even if you did not believe that Christ has laid down his life for you, at this time somebody has given you a gift of a different kind: a present, well wishes, a smile. Whatever you received, consider it a compliment. It was given with kindness. Perhaps you want to return the compliment.
A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle. Let your candle burn bright. 'Tis the reason for the season!

Thanks for the seat
Hey stranger, thanks for the seat. These two shopping bags were getting heavy. The bus was on time but I was running a little late and feeling just a bit agitated. The kids won't always understand: they don't have to; my situation is no fault of theirs. Even so, your kindness just made my day a little more comfortable. Thanks for being a gentleman.
